My approach

We’ll work at your pace, and with what you want to address.  It depends on you, but our work together might include some of these areas: 

  • Looking at current issues in your life from an alternative perspective

  • Noticing how patterns learnt in early life might be affecting you now

  • Connecting into feelings that perhaps you have been avoiding

  • Expressing thoughts or emotions you haven’t been able to share

  • Facing issues from your past that have felt too tough to confront previously when, and if, it feels right and safe to do so.

Principles that guide my work include:  

  • Connecting into our feelings gives us useful information to help us navigate our lives

  • Understanding our pasts and ourselves make us better equipped to make decisions that serve us well

  • Feeling into our emotional pain, instead of pushing it away, can shift that pain into something more tolerable

  • Allowing ourselves to be our true selves in a safe relationship can open up possibilities for change.
